The Dallas Comedy Festival takes place in Dallas, TX March 23-26, 2016.
The Dallas Comedy Festival is, well, a comedy festival. While we appreciate all performance art, the DCF artistic team is looking for comedic acts in the following areas: improv comedy, sketch comedy, and stand up comedy. Please only submit shows/acts that are currently running/rehearsed. We showcase some of the best local and national talent during the festival, so our team will be looking for polished products.
Before you continue the submissions process, please have the following information ready, as you will be asked for this information during the checkout process:
- Name & Current Contact Information
- Name of Improv Troupe/Sketch Show/Stand up Act
- Hometown
- Home Theater
- Link to Website and/or social media
- Link to any relevant review of your show or yourself (if submitting for stand up)
- Show Description for the Festival staff: This can be a techical description, as it will just be used to help the festival committee better understand the show.
- Press Description: 75 words or less in 3rd Person Active describing the show or the comic
- Minimum of one high resolution jpeg to be used for press purposes
- Link to unedited video of your morst recent performance (10 minutes for stand up/20 minutes for improv or sketch)
**YOUR SUBMISSION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE INTO THE FESTIVAL. ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE FINAL AND ALL SUBMISSION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Early bird submissions are due by November 9th at 11:59PM.
FINAL submissions are due by December 10th at 12:01AM.
Release of the final show line-up will be on January 10th.
