Kate is a Los Angeles-based actor and writer. She is an alumnus of the iO Theater and Second City, where she spent her time on cruise ships, touring the country and understudying their main stage productions. Kate is also an accomplished actor and comedian outside of The Second City having starred in independent features and television pilots, including Pageant Dads, 15 Minutes to Obscurity, and Paid Programming, a New York Television Festival finalist and Close Quarters where she won Best Supporting Actress in the Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival. When she is not improvising at various theaters around town, Kate is writing her own projects with her creative partner Katie Rich, as well as animated comedy through the production company, FuzzCuzz and web shorts with In Bed Together. Festival workshops are held at Dallas Comedy House Theater and Training Center, located at 2645/2647 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in for workshop. Workshops will start promptly on time.
